File_004

Beautiful You is the focal point for this card…and masked against embossed Mediterranean Moments in silver. Color accents in the girl were done with Stampin Write Markers

Cut base 8 1/2 X11 Whisper White base layer at 5 1/2. Score at 4 /14

Cut a 5 1/4 X 4 Basic Black layer

Cut a 5 X 3 3/4 Real Red layer

Cut a Whisper White 4 3/4 X 3 1/2 layer. This will be the layer used to mask and emboss.

Prepare a mask of the desired girl stamp. I used the sticker from the card stamp set and trimmed it close. You could also stamp the girl and cut it out and reserve it for the mask.

Using Basic Black Ink (Momento), stamp the girl in the desired position in the middle of of your smallest whisper white stock.

Adhere the mask (or sticker) on top of the stamped image of the girl.

Using your Embossing Buddy, wipe the small white card base to clear any static, or residue on the card.

Take your Mediterranean Moments desired scene and ink it up in VersaMark. Stamp over the mask of the girl mask.

Remove the mask.

Sprinkle Silver Embossing Powder over the entire card.. Shake off the remaining powder onto a clean sheet of folded copy paper and sift the powder back into your embossing powder container.

Tap the card with your finger to get rid of excess powder.

Using your Heat Embossing Tool, wave the heated tool over the embossed area, allowing the silver to melt. Wave the tool over the entire card until the silver smooths out.

Make sure to not heat too aggressively making the powder scatter and creating "splatters" on your card.

Color in your stamped girl image in desired colors. I used Melon Mambo for the sweater, Elegant Eggplant for the skirt.
