Quick and Easy Stamping with Celebrate With Cake!

I have a passion………………………….

That is to show you how to get comfortable with things you aren’t comfortable with.

I am a trainer at heart….I also am an avid stamper. Put those 2 things together….and poof! You have the start of my series…Quick and Easy Stamping!

This cut little card and some of her friends were made with the Stampin Up Celebrate With Cake Bundle. The bundle gets you the stamp, the inks, the cards bases and envelopes (20 of ’em!) as well as the block to put your stamp on….and ink/stamp away!

The instructions to make this adorable card can be viewed in the video, or follow the written instructions below.

You also can enjoy the alternative cards made here, using the very same bundle! On some of the cards I added layering with some Granny Apple Green or Flirty Flamingo card stock…

If you like these cards, like the ideas, hit the pictures below to order this cute bundle!

Come Sail Away

What a quick and fun card to make with minimal stamping….

Minimal stamping? Yep, you got that right! Sometimes we don’t have enough time for full blown FANDABULOUS card making. StampinUp gives us an array of tools to make cards on the fly (like the one I will show you) OR a 3D birdhouse that magically flips open with 100 different folds….

Add first Whisper White to Sahara Sand Base

Adhere first bottom Memories and More layer—to the upper left

Wrap Bakers Twine around the 2nd Memories and More layer (twice) and make a bow; snip ends so that they are even (I used a navy in the card but suggest the current Night of Navy/Sahara Sand striped bakers twine)

Wrap Bakers Twine around the 2nd Memories and More layer (twice) and make a bow; snip ends so that they are even (I used a navy in the card but suggest the current Night of Navy/Sahara Sand striped bakers twine)

Adhere 2nd layer over the first layer aiming for the lower right

Use some multi-purpose glue to attach the trinket of your choice

Stamp “Congrats” on Whisper White scrap in Soft Suede

You can fussy cut the Congrats into a rectangle with a “flag” at he end OR use the optional Smooth Sailing Die to cut out the greeting (as shown)

On the 2nd Whisper White layer, stamp the rope image to the left (I turned the card for easier stamping AND started with the center image)

Stamp the greeting of your choice in Night of Navy

Stamp the greeting of your choice in Night of Navy

THEN you can adhere that layer to the inside of your card

Beach It Is!

I had quite the beachy theme going on this weekend!  I created 2 cards both with different origins.

The first, very colorful card was CASED from Stampin with Kathy out of Canada…..and is an alternative to the June Paper Pumpkin (Kits sold with stamps, inks, papers, etc along a monthly theme) created for my BFF’s Birthday…..I just LOVED it and is the “happiest” card I think I have ever made.

Pineapple Drink PP

The second card is for my beach buddy sister in laws birthday.  Jerri Ann has accompanied me on more than one trip to the North Carolina Outer Banks….This card just says it all……

This card is my first foray into water coloring.  The thinlets came from  Seasonal Layers for the chair and Swirly Scribbles for the Sun.  The chair paper was embossed with Seaside embossing folder, then the chair was cut out with the Big Shot.  I lightly sponged over it in Smokey Grey for a weathered look.

The rest of the card was drawn free hand using Stampin Write Markers in big streaky swooshes and my Aqua Painters to spread the color around.  I did use Watercolor Paper.

Enjoy these projects….and remember, if you are interested in buying any of the supplies for these projects, please use the links to my Stampin Up Store to order…..
